Farid Akmal

Farid Akmal Karim is a Bornean-born entrepreneur based in between London and Brno. In 2016, he was granted a place within the Ravensbourne Incubation Program in London to launch his creative technology studio and startup, Farid Akmal Studio, which looks into research and development of creative solutions for the design and tech industry. Farid received a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from the Regents University in London and his Masters Degree in Wearable Futures in Ravensbourne University London where he was formerly a Technical Instructor and Lecturer in both the Foundations of Textile and Fashion Design Diploma program and the BA in Fashion Accessories Design and Textile Futures program. His works can be seen featured in the Huffington Post and Euronews.
